Children's Summer Comic Book Workshop

At Powell Visual Arts, we believe every child has a story worth telling and maybe a few superpowers hidden up their sleeves. This summer, we’re bringing the pages to life through our premier Comic Book Storytelling Program.

 

We aren't just doodling; we’re building worlds. Through our exclusive partnership with 12 school districts across Pennsylvania, we provide a high-energy, educational environment where kids transition from fans to creators.

Our program is designed to be fast-paced, funny, and deeply rewarding. We focus on the "how-to" of visual narrative, ensuring that even the youngest artists can express their big ideas.

• Interactive Group Activities: Collaboration is key in the comic world! Students participate in a "live-sketch" group session to brainstorm characters and plot twists.

• The Masterpiece: Every single student walks away with a completed comic strip of their own design and ready to hang on the fridge .
